THE YSU FEMALE VOLLEYBALL TEAM PASSED THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE 23RD RA STUDENT SPORTS GAMES
In the volleyball championship of the 23rd RA student sports games, the YSU female team beat the volleyball team of the State Pedagogical University of Armenia with a score of 2:0 and entered the semi-final.

In the first subgroup of the championship held at the State University of Economics of Armenia, are the female volleyball teams of Yerevan State University, the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan, the American University of Armenia, and the State University of Economics of Armenia. While in the second subgroup are the female volleyball teams of V. Brusov State University, Armenian-Russian University, Polytechnic University, and State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Armenia.

 

 

The team of Yerevan State University also defeated the team of the American University of Armenia in the previous games.

 

In the semi-finals, the YSU female volleyball team will compete against the team of the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Armenia. The game will take place on November 15 at the State University of Economics of Armenia.

Within the framework of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) International Science and Technology Initiative (MISTI) Global Teaching Labs (GTL) program Yerevan State University (YSU) hosted three students back in January this year for the first time. MIT students Yu Jing Chen, Anne Snyder, and Sean Zhang taught three different subjects and held hands-on workshops for YSU students.
