Scale of professional interests
Scale of professional interests includes the issues of research and coverage of the modern period of history of Armenian diplomacy, especially 1918-1920, which is regarded as the most complex and controversial. He is the author of 8 monographs and more than 73 scientific articles. G. Petrosyan has supervised 6 candidate theses, which were successfully defended.

Professional Activities
Member of YSU Board and Academic Council, member of YSU Academic Council’s competitive standing commission on the Humanities specialties, member of Scientific Council of the Institute of History NAS RA, member of MD Institute for National Strategic Studies Academic Board 056 (“Political Science and International Relations”), member of Editorial board of "Banber"- Bulletin of Yerevan University, "International Relations, Political Science", member of Editorial board of the journal “International Relations: Armenian World”.
