Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources is a republican body of executive authority, which develops and implements government policy in Armenia's energy and natural resources management. In 1992, overcoming the energy crisis, as well as by the Ministry of Energy and fuels for effective organization of the process of reform. Ministry on August 4, 1995 renamed the Ministry of Energy, which later on was renamed as the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in 2008.
The main objective of the Ministry's activities in the fields of energy and natural resources to develop and ensure the government's policy. The Ministry carries out international cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations, bilateral and multilateral international treaties, intergovernmental commissions and other formats.
It cooperates with the Faculty of Economics and Management.
