SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF WORKS OF ART AND CULTURAL HERITAGE. LECTURE AT YSU
Khachatur Manukyan, a graduate of YSU Faculty of Chemistry, now professor of University of Notre Dame, USA, delivered a speech entitled "Scientific Research of Works of Art and Cultural Heritage" on the initiative of YSU Faculty of Chemistry.

During a webinar on the Zoom online platform, Khachatur Manukyan spoke about archeology, which aims to provide a scientific explanation of the development of past cultures and the history of societies based on excavated materials.

 

During the webinar, the speaker introduced the participants  the methods of studying Roman silver coins, medieval manuscripts, historical banknotes and examples of their description.

Gevorg Danielyan, Acting Head of YSU Chair of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Armenia spoke about the process of forming YSU Board of Trustees, stating that it is a representative body and in order to have the right to act it is necessary to ensure election or appointment of all members.
