On March 31-April 6 the representatives of the Faculty of International Relations were on a working visit to Belarus.

Head of Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy Marut Vardazaryan and Deputy Dean of the faculty Zhak Manukyan were invited by the management of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University. The goal of the visit was the experience exchange in the development of new educational programs and promotion of the bilateral cooperation in the scientific and education fields.


Our delegation was received by the Rector of the Belarusian State University Sergey Ablameyko and Vice-rector on Education Affairs Aleksey Danilchenko, dean of the Faculty of International Relations Victor Shadurskiy, as well as the professorial staff of the faculty.


The prospects of cooperation in the educational process and the specifics of the faculties of International Relations of both universities were discussed. The parties have made an agreement on the activation of bilateral contacts, organizing lectures and conferences and publication of the results of joint researches.


YSU delegation also held meetings with the representatives of the Department of Humanities, Social-political and Social Issues of the CIS Executive Committee, Deputy Permanent Representative of the RA at the CIS Executive Committee, Extraordinary Envoy and Plenipotentiary Minister Vahan Charkhchyan and discussed the priority issues in the framework of the cooperation.


Marut Vardazaryan and Zhak Manukyan delivered a lecture for the students of the Faculty of International Relations of theBelarusianStateUniversity. The lecture focused on the foreign policy issues of the RA. The topics of the lecture were “Armenia Faced with the Choice between the new initiatives by the RF and EU “Eastern Partnership” Program” and “The foreign policy priorities and principles of the RA in 1991-2014”.
