Բեռնի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Էմանուելա Չիապարինին՝ ԵՊՀ-ում Բեռնի (Շվեյցարիա) համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Էմանուելա Չիապարինին ԵՊՀ սոցիոլոգիայի ֆակուլտետում անցկացրեց «Շահառուների ներգրավումը սոցիալական աշխատանքում» խորագրով դասախոսություն՝ ներկայացնելով աշխարհում օրեցօր կարևորվող մոտեցումները։ Նրա խոսքով՝ սոցիալական աշխատանքի հիմքում պետք է լինեն ինչպես օգնության տրամադրումը, այնպես էլ շահառուների ձայնը լսելի դարձնելը։
ԵՊՀ իրավագիտության ֆակուլտետի թիմը՝ առևտրային արբիտրաժին նվիրված միջբուհական դատախաղի հաղթող ԵՊՀ իրավագիտության ֆակուլտետի ուսանողները մեծ հաջողություն են գրանցել 11-րդ ADR միջբուհական դատախաղում՝ հաղթելով եզրափակիչ փուլում և արժանանալով մի քանի մրցանակների, այդ թվում՝ «Լավագույն գրավոր աշխատանք» և «Լավագույն բանախոս» անվանակարգերում։
Field research: Investigating human–wildlife interactions An international summer school titled "One Health: Human–Wildlife Interaction" was held in Armenia from April 23 to May 2, aiming to explore human–wildlife–ecosystem interactions, study disease transmission, and advance both theoretical and practical knowledge in these fields.
New treatment methods explored to alleviate symptoms of multiple sclerosis Multiple sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, leading to inflammatory and neurodegenerative changes. The disease is relatively widespread and manifests primarily through symptoms such as double vision, motor difficulties, and memory loss. Associate Professor Anna Karapetyan, Head of the Chair of Human and Animal Physiology at YSU Faculty of Biology, notes that her research team is working to identify new approaches aimed at alleviating the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
Auditorium named after National Hero Tatul Krpeyan reopened at YSU The reopening ceremony of the auditorium named after National Hero of Armenia Tatul Krpeyan took place at the Faculty of History, Yerevan State University. This initative was realized through collaboration with Armenia Wine Company.
New study aims to promote women's health Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at YSU Faculty of Biology, Inga Bazukyan, emphasizes that cervical cancer is the fourth most common type of cancer globally, with human papillomavirus (HPV) being its primary cause. According to her, HPV-induced cancer is prevalent among the local population, partly due to the fear that HPV vaccination might lead to infertility—an apprehension that leads many to avoid getting vaccinated. Despite the existence of a national HPV vaccination program for women, the incidence of cervical cancer has remained unchanged since 2015. Inga Bazukyan and her research team are currently studying the vaginal microbiome to propose alternative methods for preventing HPV.
Auditorium named after Yuri Gabrielyan opens at YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication An auditorium at YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication has been renovated, newly furnished, and named in honor of Professor Yuri Gabrielyan, former head of the Chair of German Philology. This was made possible through the support of Professor Gabrielyan’s sons, enhancing the faculty’s academic environment and commemorating distinguished scholars.

Presentation of Turkish historian Taner Akçam's book "One Hundred Years of Apartheid: The History of the Republic of Turkey" held Yerevan State University hosted the presentation of the book "One Hundred Years of Apartheid: A History of the Republic of Turkey" by Turkish historian and professor Taner Akçam, founder of the "Armenian Genocide" research program of the Promise Armenian Institute at UCLA. In his address, Taner Akçam presented the arguments through which he interprets the actions of the Turkish authorities as manifestations of ethnic discrimination.
YSU Institute of Humanities Research summarizes past year’s achievements at its annual conference The Faculty of Theology at Yerevan State University hosted the 2024 annual reporting conference of YSU Institute for Humanities Research. During the event, heads of the institute’s subdivisions presented comprehensive reports on the research activities conducted over the past year.
