YSU Institute for Social and Humanitarian Studies has been operating since 2023.

Thanks to the scientific articles and works published by the institute, issues related to religious studies, archaeology, ethnography, anthropology, philosophy of history, Georgian studies and British literature are raised, researched, studied, analyzed and evaluated from a scientific and practical point of view.

Institute for Social and Humanitarian Studies creates an interdisciplinary research platform for conducting various types of research, contributes to the performance of interdisciplinary research and the publication of results, supports researchers in humanitarian sciences in publishing and publicizing their work, provides professional support to various public structures and institutes for the acquisition and dissemination of expert knowledge, points out the current issues in the mention field, local and regional threads and the tools and mechanisms to deal with them, forms a culture of interdisciplinary research, which becomes the basis for the emergence of new research and new ideas.
