Faculty of Russian Philology

The history of the Faculty of Russian Philology began in 1938 when the Department of Russian Language and Literature was opened at the Faculty of Philology of YSU. In 1976 based on the department, the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature was created, which was later renamed the Faculty of Russian Philology.

The Faculty of Russian Philology prepares multi-disciplinary specialists in the fields of Russian language and literature, translation, and cross-cultural communication.

The Faculty has a three-level education system: Undergraduate, Master's, and Postgraduate.
