COOPERATION AGREEMENT AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN YSU AND DUHOK UNIVERSITY IN IRAQ
A cooperation agreement was signed today between Yerevan State University and Duhok University in Iraq.
Acting YSU Rector Gegham Gorgyan, YSU Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Public Relations Arthur Israyelyan, RA Ambassador to Iraq Hrashya Poladyan were present at the event.
He noted the importance of the cooperation agreement between the two sides in the field of higher education.
In his opinion, the historically formed relations between Armenia and Iraq should be developed and expanded.
According to Ambassador Poladyan, the first step, which will contribute to the development of relations in the field of higher education, was the inclusion of a number of Armenian universities in the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Technology, as well as the signing of cooperation agreements.
According to the ambassador, in the future it is planned to sign cooperation agreements between YSU and Baghdad universities.
