YSU PROFESSOR ARMEN TRCHUNYAN WAS POSTHUMOUSLY AWARDED THE 1ST DEGREE MEDAL

The RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan handed the medal to Karen Trchunyan, Director of the YSU Microbial Biotechnologies and Biofuel Innovation Center.

The Minister referred to Professor Trchunyan's scientific path, describing him as a talented scientist who enjoyed the love and respect not only of the university, but also of the international scientific community.

Karen Trchunyan thanked those present for appreciating his father's scientific path and awarding him the highest award.

He said that it is a very difficult, touching moment for him. He promised to do everything possible to continue his father's path, to complete the unfinished work.

Armen Trchunyan's main goal was to make the Armenian scientific potential competitive in the international scientific arena, we must do that.
