Center of Innovational Social Research
The Center of Innovational Social Research of the Faculty of Sociology of YSU is engaged in the introduction and implementation of social science, sociological, and humanitarian research and educational programs.
The Center works with local and international donor organizations to develop and analyze scientific and educational programs, field research works, and research results.
The Center uses the latest research methods, combining them with the traditions of organizing and conducting basic and applied social science research.
The objectives of the Innovation Center for Social Research are:
To promote the increase in the efficiency of research in Armenia,
To involve a wide range of researchers in scientific research programs,
To contribute to the formation of the research potential of YSU and cooperation between interested organizations, international and local organizations through the implementation of scientific research programs,
To organize and carry out research of a social essence and the study of public opinion,
To carry out research aimed at the scientific, educational, management, and administrative activities of YSU, using the latest research methods,
To come up with proposals regarding the improvement of the quality and form of internal processes of YSU, to contribute to the reforms,
To provide research results and expert advice to state and non-state, local and international organizations, individuals and social groups,
To organize and implement educational, and scientific events and various courses involving YSU professorial staff,
To present the results of the research, organize and implement round tables, workshops, and other events aimed at discussing them,
To evaluate and monitor the quality of higher education, evaluate the effectiveness of innovative programs of YSU,
To make efforts aimed at consolidating the research community in Armenia.
