Event Description

On May 15 and 16, 2025, Yerevan State University will host the first-ever YSU Alumni Forum.

This event aims to create a platform for communication and cooperation within the university community, through which YSU alumni from different years will have the opportunity to discuss current issues, present their professional experiences and achievements, and address opportunities and challenges in various sectors at the national, regional, and global levels.

The forum will feature panel discussions, talks, and provide an informal setting for interactions. It is expected that the issues, challenges, and priorities raised by forum participants will serve as the foundation for organizing the future activities of the alumni community. To this end, a series of discussions will also be held during the event, aimed at fostering the establishment of YSU alumni community and enhancing its operational efficiency.

The first YSU Alumni Forum will begin with panel discussions dedicated to the roles and priorities of the university and the university community in today’s Armenia. The subsequent discussions and talks will cover four thematic areas:

Physical world
Space and technology
Society and economy
Language, culture, history, and tradition

The outcomes of the forum will be summarized by presenting the conclusions of the sectoral discussions and awarding YSU Alumni Excellence Awards.

The logo of YSU Alumni Forum, designed in alignment with YSU Coat of Arms, simultaneously symbolizes the alumni's journey at the university, their completion of studies, and the new beginning that follows.

The circular shape of the logo represents the "cycle" of the educational phase, which in its entirety reflects the full path of university life. The dot signifies the completion of the educational phase, while the arrow simultaneously indicates the possibility of a continuous journey beyond the university, in connection with the institution.
