Scholarship for foreign students studying at YSU

Yerevan State University announces its Scholarships program to be awarded to foreign students admitted for English language taught BA and MA degree programs starting 2023-24 academic year. Scholarships will cover tuition fees (completely or partially – up to 60%), as well as students stay at YSU Dormitory.

The applicants should submit their documents to YSU Foreign Students department via email and shortlisted applicants will be invited for online interview (on major selected) and will have to pass English language examination in case they do not have TOEFL or IELTS certificate. 

All necessary documents can be submitted from June 20 to August 15 to the following email: foreignstudent@ysu.am.

List of documents to be submitted:

1. 2 notarized translated copies of passport in Armenian language. First copy is for Yerevan State University, second copy is necessary for student residence permit.
2. Copy of previous academic certificate (from high school and also BA Diplomas for MA programs applicants) and transcripts (confirmed by Armenian Embassy or Armenian consulate representative. Citizens from CIS countries can provide only notarized translations).
3. 2 original copies of general health certificate (this certificate can be provided by any Armenian medical institution). First copy is for Yerevan State University, second copy is necessary for student residence permit.
4. CV in English.
5. Motivation letter in English.
6. 4 photos (3x4)
7. TOEFL or IELTS certificate – if available
