In the frames of the APPEAR “DEvision-Digitally Connecting Real and Virtual Environments” project the "Digital Earth Symposium: Bridging Real and Virtual Worlds" is organized which will be held on October 26, 2023 at the Center for European Studies Council Hall.
During the conference, the DEvision project as well as the educational modules shaped in the frames of the project and their beneficiaries will be presented.
Reports/Papers by YSU professors and representatives of partner universities both Armenian and international are also expected.

Project overview. The DEvision project seeks to integrate geospatial online and blended learning modules into bachelor and master-level courses from a variety of disciplines at partner institutions. The project brings the Digital Earth vision and principles of digital transformation into action, influencing society, economics, and ecosystems.
DEvision aims to educate Digital Earth citizens across curricula by implementing a set of core learning modules on Digital Earth Basics, Geospatial Models and Representations, Geovisualisation and –communication, Remote Sensing and Image Analysis, and Spatial Analysis with integrated elements for Application Development.
