Yerevan State University Foundation, as part of international academic cooperation, is pleased to announce a competition for the awarding of an invited professorship grant. The grant is intended for conducting professional courses equivalent to 6 credits for 1 semester* and supervising at least one graduation paper or master's thesis at Yerevan State University.
Applications, along with the required documents, must be submitted to YSU Educational-Methodological Department at education@ysu.am during the period from April 10, 2025, to May 20, 2025.
Requirements for Invited Professors:
Academic and pedagogical experience in a relevant field at a foreign university.
H-index according to Scopus (at least 4 for the humanities field, at least 7 for the natural and mathematical sciences field).
Required Documents for Professors:
A report from the head of the academic department confirming participation in the grant competition.
Course syllabi in pdf or jpg format (signed).
Justification from the head of the educational program for the necessity of the invited professor teaching the courses.
An excerpt from the decision of the scientific council of the academic department confirming the grant guarantee.
The professor’s curriculum vitae (CV).
The professor must send a confirmation letter from their official email address to YSU Educational-Methodological Department at education@ysu.am, stating that they are familiar with the job duties and responsibilities.
*In special cases (with the approval of the relevant vice-rector and if the course can be implemented within a short timeframe), the invited professor may be present in Armenia for a shorter period, but not less than 30 working days.
