As part of the collaboration between YSU Alumni and Career Center and the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Republic of Armenia, Ashot Movsisyan, Head of the SRC Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department, Tigran Nazaryan, Deputy Head of the same department, and Gor Vardanyan, Head of the Educational Division at the SRC Training Center SNCO, visited YSU. During their visit, they held meetings with students and representatives of the Faculty of International Relations.
At the meeting with students, the SRC representatives discussed the training on "Competition for Filling Vacant Positions Performing Operational-Intelligence Functions of Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department and Training of the Department's Staff." The main goal of the meeting was to inform students about this unique program offered by the SRC, which provides students with the opportunity to engage in professional work.
The SRC representatives also spoke about the specifics of the training program, emphasizing that those who successfully complete it will have the opportunity to work in various divisions of the SRC’s Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department.
Students were given the chance to ask questions and receive detailed answers from the speakers.
Additionally, during the visit, a meeting took place with Tigran Yepremyan, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, and Zhak Manukyan, Head of the Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy, to explore new avenues for cooperation. The results of the "World Politics" and "International Relations" bachelor’s and master’s degree programs were presented, as well as the skills students acquire, which can be applied in relevant departments of the State Revenue Committee.
The meeting also included a discussion on the potential revision of official position requirements.
Karine Nazaryan, Deputy Director of YSU Alumni and Career Center, welcomed the initiative and emphasized the importance of such training programs and meetings with partners, which contribute to a forward-looking vision and ensure alignment with the evolving job market and the demands and offers of partners.
