Direct Flights
Armenia is easily accessible from many major countries in the region. It is easy to get to Armenia as there is no shortage of direct flights to and from Zvartnots International Airport. Regular direct flights happen daily from major international cities across the globe.
The international airport of Yerevan "Zvartnots" is located in the western part of the capital 12 kilometers from the center. The trip to the center will take you 20-25 minutes (by cab or transfer) and about half an hour by public transport.
Foreigners entering Armenia are required to show their valid passport. CIS member states, EU member states, Schengen countries, the United States of America, and a few others are exempt from an entry visa.

Armenian currency monetary is the Armenian dram ” Դ”.
Visitors from abroad must resort to exchanging the currency at the prevailing exchange rate. The best places to exchange your currency are the local banks which are usually open from 09:00 to 16:30 Monday through Friday. Most banks do not close for lunch. Credit cards are accepted most anywhere as well as debit cards. All banks feature ATM machines.
