YSU Coat of Arms
The main part of the university’s visual identity is the coat of arms in the "acute-angled circle" (hereinafter, the logo). This core piece is used on all campus visual materials, from business cards to posters and the website.
The "acute-angled circle" is the main variant and always contains the coat of arms and the name of the university in Armenian and English.
The round coat of arms is placed in the middle of the circular part of the "acute-angled circle". The size of the coat of arms is 80% of the circle.
Writings (the name of the university in different languages, the website, or the names of the faculties) are combined with the logo separately from the coat of arms.
In the vertical version, the texts are aligned to the right, the font is GHEA Grapalat.
In the Armenian version, the width of the word “UNIVERSITY” is equal to the width of the logo. The distance from the upper border of the text to the logo is equal to the height of the Armenian letter “I” of the name. The font size in the English version is equal to the size of the Armenian letters created according to the above standard.
In the horizontal version, the height of the writing is half the height of the logo. The distance of the letters from the logo is equal to the distance from the edge of the form to the edge of the coat of arms.
