Event Celebrating Book Giving Day at YSU
YSU Library named after Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian
On February 19, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at YSU Library named after Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian, a series of events celebrating Book Giving Day will be launched.
- 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.- Tours for YSU students and guests (from the library foyer, near the central entrance)
- 2:00 p.m.- Opening of the exhibition of rare and antique printed books (library foyer, near the central entrance)
- 2:30 p.m.- "The Researcher as a Writer (and Vice Versa)" workshop (reading room 503)
- 3:00 p.m. - Discussion of the translated collection titled Անհատը և հանրայինը. տեքստեր փոխհարաբերության մասին, published in Armenian (Philological Sciences Reading Room 501)
- 4:30 p.m. - "How to Create a Characters and Manage Fates" workshop (Exact Sciences Reading Room 503)
- 5:00 p.m. - Discussion of D. Kahneman's book Thinking, Fast and Slow (Philological Sciences Reading Room 501)
