Mechanics and Applied Mathematics
Admission is carried out based on the YSU Master's Degree Admission Regulations.
Admission criteria for the program:
Bachelor's degree in mechanics, mathematics or a related natural science.
The duration of the "Mechanics and Applied Mathematics" educational program is 2 years.
Graduates of the program receive a Master's degree.
The goal of the program is:
to prepare specialists in mechanics and applied mathematics, capable of conducting professional, scientific research and scientific-pedagogical activities,
to develop students' professional skills in mechanics, applied and computational mathematics, motion control and stability studies,
to develop students' knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the specialty and the principles of mathematical modeling of physical-mechanical problems.
Career opportunities
The "Mechanics and Applied Mathematics" program graduates can work in scientific research institutes and centers in mechanics, mathematics, physics, and related fields, in institutions dealing with design, engineering, management issues, and IT.
Graduates have the opportunity to:
continue their studies in postgraduate studies at YSU, the Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of the RA and other universities,
carry out scientific work at universities, the Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of the RA and other research and engineering centers.
Graduates can teach at universities, general education, and vocational educational institutions.
