On May 13, 2024, YSU hosted the international conference titled "Reflecting the Past, Shaping the Future: The EU and Democracy Support in Fragmented and Troubled Neighborhood".
This conference was organized under the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework Program’s REDEMOS project.
At the scientific event, discussions revolved around issues concerning EU democracy support in the Eastern Neighborhood countries, alongside discussions on democratic transformations in Armenia, authoritarian threats, and regional risks.
The event was attended by representatives of RA accredited diplomatic missions, state, international and non-governmental organizations, researchers, experts and students.
