1. Admission criteria/requirements
The admission is carried out following the admission procedure of the YSU’s Master's program.
2. Programme Objectives
· to provide students with fundamental knowledge of human resource management, introducing them to the theoretical foundations and practical features of HRM.
· to provide students with knowledge of HRM strategy and policy development, implementation and evaluation, modern HRM functions, and form and develop their practical skills.
. to acquaint employees with RA labor legislation and related legal bases and teach them how to apply them.

3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- To present the theoretical foundations of HRM.
- To categorize the formats and requirements for developing, implementing, and evaluating HRM strategies and policies.
- To describe modern HRM functions, particularly recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, remuneration administration, and organizational management.
- To present and interpret self-management, motivation, communications, stress, creativity, team and group, conflict, leadership management organizational culture, and career management.
- To explain the theoretical foundations of coaching, and psychodiagnosis.
- To present the features of labor and related legislations, as well as personnel administration approaches.
- To present the methodology of obtaining information and research.
- To implement the development, implementation, and evaluation of HRM strategy and policies.
- To implement modern HRM functions, namely recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, remuneration management, and organizational management.
- To implement self-management, motivation, stress, communications, creativity, team and group, conflicts, leadership, organizational culture, and career management.
- To analyze the processes of coaching, and psychodiagnosis.
- To apply the provisions of labor and related legislation and to carry out personnel administration.
- To carry out social research.
- To apply ICT in practice, formulate and solve problems.
- To access and analyze information from a variety of sources.
- To communicate verbally and in writing with the staff, the professional community, and the general public.
- To maintain the norms of professional ethics.
4. Assessment methods
Students' assessment is carried out according to the order of organization of the educational process of YSU. The order specifies that the courses are divided into four groups according to the form of assessment: with final assessment, without final assessment, courses without mid-term exams, and check-up courses.
Courses with final assessment
Two mid-term and one final exams are planned. Each of the mid-term exams is evaluated at a maximum of 4 points, the participation in the course - a maximum of 3 points, the final exam - a maximum of 9 points.
Courses without final assessment
There are two mid-term exams and one individual work. Mid-term exams are evaluated with a maximum value of 4 and 5 points respectively, individual work - a maximum of 8 points, and participation in the course - a maximum of 3 points.

One mid-term oral examination, one individual work, and a final exam.
The mid-term oral examination is evaluated with a maximum of 4 points, individual work with a maximum of 4 points, participation in the course with a maximum of 3 points, and the final exam with a maximum of 9 points.
The internship is assessed through a check-up. The Master's thesis is evaluated on a scale of 20 points.

7. Educational standards or programme benchmarks used for programme development
The structure and content of the educational program were developed following the international standards for the classification of the specialty presented in the official document of "Tier II Standard for Human Resources Management Specialists. ICSC Human resources management specialists Job Classification Manual Vol. II", as well as standards adopted by the Armenian HRM Association.

· ability to make a coursework program (calendar plan),
Knowledge of interactive teaching methods, and ability to use active learning techniques.

· ability to work with various scientific sources, as well as to use Internet information resources,

Ability to lead a research group.

· ability to communicate orally with the audience,
· ability to present research results in written form,
. Knowledge of a foreign language (at least B1 level of English).
ICT application
. Basic computer skills (fluent command of Word, Excel, Power-Point programs of the MS Office package),
· Ability to use modern HRM platforms.
Other abilities
Knowledge of human resources professional ethics, labor legislation, and related legal norms,
· ability to estimate the necessary resources and implement the programs effectively,
. ability to plan and manage time.

Academic degree
A degree in social sciences or, in some cases, a Master's degree obtained at a foreign university in a given or related specialty, or the availability of international certificates in HR,
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting trainings,
· participation in local or international training and/or professional qualification improvement courses during the last 5 years,
Practical experience
· at least 3 years of work experience in HR or a related field: psychology, management, law, sociology, economics, pedagogy, etc.
Other requirements
. Teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 50% of taught subjects,
. The average of grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 3.5 (for teaching professors).

The program is applied by the Chair of Sociology Theory and History, which during its years of operation, develops multifaceted educational programs jointly with the St. Petersburg Academy of Finance and Economics and the St. Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics, which is a sufficient basis for implementing high-quality Master’s degree program
