On November 18 and 19, 2024, first-year students of the "Finance" educational program from YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, accompanied by lecturer H. Dovlatyan, visited the Central Bank of Armenia.
The purpose of the visit was to reinforce knowledge about the country’s main financial institution and its monetary policy, as part of the course "Fundamentals of Finance." At the Central Bank Visitor Center, students also learned about the security features of the Armenian dram, as well as the collection of gold and silver commemorative coins and medals issued by the Central Bank.
It should be noted that, according to the established tradition, this was the first visit of future financiers to the Central Bank of Armenia.
