1. Admission criteria/requirements
The applicants should have at least a three-level general secondary education of RA or other equivalent education.
The admission is carried out following the RA Government Decision No. 686 of April 28, 2011, on approving the procedure for admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (according to the Bachelor's program) and repealing RA Government Decision No. 597 of April 26, 2012. Applicants to the program should take the following joint exams for admission:
1. Mathematics (written)
2. Armenian language and literature (written) or foreign language (written)
Admission of applicants with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in other majors is carried out without entrance exams. In this case, the applicant is admitted to the second year of the educational program.

2. Programme Objectives
The program aims to prepare high-quality economists-specialists for organizations performing economic activities in various sectors of the economy, financial and banking sector, production and social infrastructures, state administration, and local self-government systems.
3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- To cover established regulations and existing technologies in the field of public and economic management
- To present the most widespread directions of application of modern probabilistic, optimization, statistical, econometric, and other methods
- To interpret the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics, the problems of global and local markets
- To present the existing basic approaches and basic procedures for performing technical and economic calculations necessary for business
- To present the most widespread specialized computer programs, as well as the main directions of their application for economic analysis
- To make technical and economic calculations necessary for business
- To assess the economic efficiency of the activities of various organizations and industries
- To contribute to the solution of decisions and practical problems made by all economic entities with professional analyses and calculations
- To prepare and present a variety of professional reports
- To use appropriate computer packages to solve various professional problems
- To use various sources of information (Internet resources, electronic libraries, scientific articles, and reports)
- To prepare reports, present research results, conduct scientific debates
4. Assessment methods
The assessment includes the following components:
1. assessment of mastering the sub-sections of the course (academic module) during the semester (2 mid-term exams),
2. mid-term inspections of individual topics of the course (educational module) during the semester,
3. verification and assessment of the implementation and assimilation of independent tasks provided by the program during the semester (independent work),
4. independent and/or group research provided by the program. Assessment of performance during the semester (a research paper that replaces one of the mid-term exams);
5. evaluation of participation in the course (participation),
6. final assessment of the entire course (academic module) in the exam period, which implies an assessment of the level of achievement of the educational outcomes set for the course.
According to the evaluation form, the courses are divided into 4 groups:
1. with the final assessment,
2. without final assessment,
3. without evaluation of mid-term exams,
4. check-up.

▪ RA higher education institutions,
▪ international structures, etc.
Graduates of the program can continue their studies in the "Economics" speciality (without an exam), and in other majors, in the Master's programs, as well as in reduced terms to obtain a Bachelor's degree or a qualified specialist degree in the 2nd major.

· ability to work with various scientific sources, as well as to use Internet information resources,
· ability to conduct sociological and marketing research,
· ability to lead a research group.
Communication
· ability to communicate orally with the audience,
· ability to present research results in writing,
· knowledge of at least one foreign language (at least B1 level of English).
ICT application
. basic computer skills (fluent command of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint package),
· the ability to use modern social platforms,
· skills to prepare and present presentations (pptx, prezi, canva, etc.).
Other abilities
· knowledge of professional ethics and legal norms regulating public relations,
· ability to estimate the necessary resources and implement projects effectively,
· ability to plan and manage time resources.

· a scientific degree and/or rank in social sciences, or, in some cases, a Master's degree obtained at a foreign university in a given or related specialty,
· availability of at least 2 scientific and/or methodological publications in the last 5 years,
· at least 2 participations in conferences and/or workshops in the last 5 years.
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting trainings (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship),
· participation in local or international trainings and/or professional qualification improvement courses (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship) during the last 5 years.
Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 1/3 of taught subjects,
· the average of the grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 3.5 (for active professors).
