1. Admission criteria/requirements
The applicant of the program must have at least RA three-level general secondary or other equivalent education. The admission is carried out following the procedure for admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (according to the Bachelor's degree, continuing and integrated educational program) and according to the RA Government’s decision N 597-Ն, of April 26, 2012, on revoking the RA Government's decision N686-Ն of April 28, 2011.
Applicants should pass the following exams for admission:
1. Mathematics (written),
2. Armenian language and literature or a foreign language (written).
Admission of applicants with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is carried out without exams. In this case, the applicant is immediately admitted to the second year of the educational program.

2. Programme Objectives
· To prepare specialists who will be able to analyze and evaluate a number of processes and developments taking place in the financial market, and to offer effective solutions to problems.
· To prepare highly qualified specialists for the banking system, non-bank financial organizations, and organizations performing economic activities in various sectors of the economy, as well as for various links of state management systems.

3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- To present modern approaches and methods of financial management.
- To explain the forms of compilation and registration of statistical data.
- To present the basic principles of banking.
- To introduce the essence of financial accounting and the forms of preparation and verification of reports.
- To explain the characteristics of the non-banking financial sector.

- To explain the approaches to the formation and management of various economic problems and phenomena.
- To interpret the basic concepts of micro and macroeconomics and the problems of global and local markets.
- To classify risks and make financial decisions.
- To prepare materials necessary for making appropriate decisions.

- To apply methods of management and evaluation of the financial sector of the economy.
- To evaluate selected economic policies.
- To develop and implement in practice the credit and other asset functions of the banking sector.
- To make technical and economic calculations necessary for business.

- To use various sources of information (Internet resources, electronic libraries, scientific articles, and reports.
- To differentiate, analyze, and interpret information obtained from different professional sources to support certain arguments and draw conclusions.
- To demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing with the professional community in a foreign language.
- To prepare reports, present research results, and conduct scientific debates.
4. Assessment methods
The assessment includes the following components:
1. assessment of mastering the sub-sections of the course (academic module) during the semester (2 mid-term exams),
2. mid-term check-ups of individual topics of the course (academic module) during the semester,
3. verification and assessment of the implementation and assimilation of independent tasks provided by the program during the semester (independent work),
4. evaluation of the performance of independent and/or group research provided by the program during the semester (research replaces any of the mid-term exams),
5. evaluation of participation in the course,
6. final evaluation of the entire course (academic module) in the exam period, which implies an evaluation of the level of achievement of educational outcomes defined for the course.

· basic computer skills (free command of MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint package),

· skills to prepare and present presentations (pptx, prezi, canva, etc.).

· a scientific rank and/or title in social sciences, or, in some cases, a Master's degree obtained at a foreign university in a given or related specialty, or long-term professional work experience in a given specialty,
· participation in conferences and/or workshops in the last 5 years.
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting trainings (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship),
· participation in local or international trainings and/or professional qualification improvement courses (except teaching post-graduate students as an intern) during the last 5 years.
Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 1/3 of the taught subjects,
. the average of grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 3.5 (for teaching professors).
