1. Admission criteria/requirements
The applicant for the program must have a certificate of secondary, primary technical, or secondary vocational education.
Admission is carried out according to the "Regulation of Admission to State and Non-state Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Armenia" approved by the RA government. Applicants take the following exams:
· History of the Armenian people (written) - mandatory
· Armenian language and literature (written) or foreign language (written)

2. Programme Objectives
The program aims to:
· prepare specialists with theoretical and practical fundamental training in the field of jurisprudence, oriented to work in the legislative, executive, and judicial authorities, as well as in the private sector,
· form lawyers-specialists who can interpret the norms of RA legislation, perform legal consultation, legal assistance, and representation functions,
· prepare specialists with practical legal writing skills,
· train legal experts who can navigate the structure and jurisdiction of state and local self-government bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
· prepare specialists with theoretical and practical fundamental training in the field of jurisprudence, oriented to work in the legislative, executive, and judicial authorities, as well as in the private sector,
· form lawyers-specialists who can interpret the norms of RA legislation, perform legal consultation, legal assistance, and representation functions,
· prepare specialists with practical legal writing skills,
· train legal experts who can navigate the structure and jurisdiction of state and local self-government bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- To explain the theoretical foundations of constitutional, administrative, administrative procedure, criminal, penal, criminal procedure, civil, civil procedure, labor, environmental, international, and a number of other branches of law, including institutions and principles, interpretation and application of legislation, legal assessment of actions approaches and principles,
- to present the problems of the history of the state and law of Armenia and other countries, as well as human rights,
- to present the requirements for drafting legal acts of constitutional, administrative, administrative proceedings, criminal, penal, criminal proceedings, civil, civil proceedings, labor, environmental, international, and a number of other branches of law,
- to discuss the approaches of RA and other countries in terms of policies implemented in the spheres of legislative, executive, and judicial power, the main directions of improvement of RA legislation and institutional system,
- to present the legal systems of RA and foreign countries, the structure and powers of state administration bodies, law enforcement agencies,
- to explain the principles, theories, rules of professional conduct, and anti-corruption mechanisms for solving legal disputes.
- to interpret the provisions of constitutional, administrative, administrative procedure, criminal, penal, criminal procedure, civil, civil procedure, labor, environmental, international, and a number of other branches of law, including amendments,
- to apply the theoretical knowledge of jurisprudence in practice, evaluate the situations, facts, and circumstances encountered in the law enforcement system, clarify contracts,
- to conduct negotiations, represent the rights and legal interests of individuals and legal entities, the state and the community,
- to draft legal acts, contracts, procedural documents
- to distinguish the powers and functions of state bodies,
- to make proposals on improving RA legislation, increasing the effectiveness of state administration, law enforcement, and justice bodies,
- to cover the legal systems and legislations of RA and foreign countries,
- to find and analyze judicial and other legal acts, information, legal statistics, and judicial practice materials.
- To use a variety of information, including foreign language sources (electronic and non-electronic),
- To demonstrate the ability to find the correct situational tactical solutions, observe the rules of professional ethics,
- to effectively plan the time and resources needed to solve the set problems, both at the individual level and when performing activities as part of a group,
- to present reports, explain them to the professional and non-professional public argumentatively, and receive information related to jurisprudence.
4. Assessment methods
Courses without final assessment. Mandatory components for student evaluation within each study module are two mid-term exams - 7-9 points, which can be conducted in written or oral form. At least two of the other components are chosen by the teaching professor, they are the mid-term check-ups: 0-8 points, independent work: 0-8 points, and participation: 0-3 points.
Courses with final assessment. Mandatory components for student evaluation within each educational module are two mid-term exams: 6-8 points and a final exam: 7-9 points. At least one of the other components is chosen by the teaching professor, they are mid-term checks: 0-6 points, independent work: 0-6 points, and participation: 0-3 points.
Courses ending with the mid-term exam. The mandatory component for student evaluation within each study module is the final exam, 7-9 points. At least two of the other components are chosen by the teaching professor, they are the mid-term check-up: 0-8 points, independent work: 0-8 points, and participation: 0-3 points.
Only the final exam evaluates the course of the general educational component.
Graduation certification is done in the form of a thesis defense.

5. Graduates future career opportunities
Graduates of the program can perform effective work in state and local self-government bodies, judiciary, self-government staff, law enforcement agencies, human rights defender's office, legal consulting (lawyer) offices, commercial and non-commercial organizations, international structures and organizations, occupying positions requiring higher legal education or any other position.
Graduates of the program can continue their studies in a Master’s degree program.

· at least 3 years of experience in teaching and/or training in professional courses,
· Participation in local or international training and/or professional qualification improvement courses during the last 5 years,
Practical work experience
· at least 5 years of work experience in the law enforcement, legal, or judicial system: investigator, prosecutor, lawyer, judge, legal advisor.
· Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 50% of taught subjects,
· the average grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 4.0 (for teaching professors).
