As Armenia is country, which is an exporter of labor, there is a risk of losing of human capital in the country. In this context, one of the most important issues is the preservation of the national identity of migrants, which is essentially aimed at preserving national characteristics in transnational migration networks and creates preconditions for maintaining the potential of human capital. The aim of the research is to identify the mechanisms of formation and transformation of national identity in the Armenia-South Russia migration network, in the context of maintaining the human capital in both countries. In the research the main models of identity policy in exporting and hosting countries, their impact on the formation and transformation of the national identity of migrants and the preservation of human capital will be discussed. Within the framework of the research, it is planned to analyze the structure of the Armenia-South Russia migration network, to identify the components of the network and their interaction as a systemic factor in the socio-cultural space of national measurements. The analysis will be performed at the macro level (at the level of the whole system), at the meso level (community level) and at the micro level (at the individual level).
