General information
Today, there is a great interest in terahertz technologies, which is conditioned by their demand and applications in a number of applied fields, which have been developing rapidly in recent years. The aim of the proposed project is to significantly expand the range of elements used in terahertz technologies, supplementing it with the structures with new functional capabilities. As a result of group collaboration, the electron and phonon properties of graphene on a liquid crystal substrate will be investigated for the first time, which will be used to create a number of new elements of terahertz photonics in high demand. As far as we know from open publications, such works are innovative, we plan to patent the intellectual property results, as well as publish them in leading international scientific journals in this field. Our ambitions are to reach the TRL-3 / TRL-4 level of technology development (demonstration of physical effect and work of the sample in the laboratory conditions).
