In this project, it is planned to study the conditions for the synchronous interaction of rods of limited length, which are elements of metamaterials with low conductivity, with an incident electromagnetic wave, to determine the possibilities for controlling the magnitude and phase of the fields formed near them. The above studies will make it possible to control the connection between the elements of the metamaterial, to obtain optimal conditions for effective absorption, focusing and deflection of the beam in the desired direction in the microwave frequency range.
