The aim of this program is the comparative analysis of the composition of the microbiome of Armenian and Bulgarian honeybees, and the detection of its influence on the production and activity of venom. The antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic, as well as proteolytic activities of Armenian bee venom will be studied.
