Infrastructures modernized at YSU

YSU building conditions are continuously improving due to active construction, renovation and furnishing activities launched in 2020.

Active construction works are ongoing at YSU to create a prosperous environment that meets international standards, which will contribute to the effective educational and scientific activities of students.

Auditoriums, chair offices, laboratories, warehouses, administrative offices are renovated with design solutions, furnished with the necessary property and modern equipment.

The renovation works of the first floor of the central building, as well as 30 bathrooms in the common area, are ongoing.

Ramps are being built for the movement of students with mobility issues, providing an inclusive environment. Also, it is planned to renovate the YSU courtyard.

To fully ensure the process of the water supply and drainage system, YSU is currently also repairing water lines and sewer lines, replacing the old pipeline with a new one.

The security system of the entire territory of YSU is being reviewed. It is planned to introduce a special innovative anti-fire system that will make it possible to extinguish the fire without the human factor.

It should be noted that the renovation works of the YSU gym will be completed soon, and the university will have a gym with modern equipment.

Months ago, the renovated reading room #503 of the YSU Library after Sargis and Marie Izmirlians was reopened, which was renovated and furnished with the financing of Yerevan State University and "Izmirlyan" Foundation.
