YSU researcher explores ways to overcome resistance to antibiotics Naira Sahakyan, a senior researcher at the YSU Biology Research Institute, has received funding from the "Program for the Advancement of Women Leaders-2024", announced by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MoESCS). Her project, titled "Antibiotic Activity of Plant Flavonoids and Possibilities of Their Application: A Comprehensive Study through In Vitro and In Silico Investigation", aims to explore possible ways for overcoming antibiotic resistance in bacteria and cancer cells.
