19th International Conference on Symmetry Methods in Physics held at YSU Yerevan State University is hosting the 19th International Conference on Symmetry Methods in Physics (SYMPHYS-XIX), dedicated to the memory of theoretical physicist Alexei Sissakian. This conference aims to bring together scientists who knew Professor Alexei Sissakian personally and worked with him, as well as to provide young specialists with the opportunity to interact with and establish cooperative relations with prominent scholars of the field.
YSU scientist's project aims to increase honey quality Inga Bazukyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology in the YSU Biology Faculty, is one of the winners of the "Program for the Empowerment of Women Leaders - 2024" competition announced by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MoESCS). Her project focuses on investigating the microbiome of honeybees' gastrointestinal tracts, analyzing how it is influenced by seasonal changes and the effects of insecticides. This research aims to increase the immunity of bees and improve the quality of honey.
European Commission Vice-President visits YSU European Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas delivered a lecture in the YSU Paleans Hall. During the lecture, he discussed the partnership relations between Armenia and the EU, as well as development trends in bilateral cooperation.
