“RISING OF SEVAN LAKE WATER LEVEL WILL ALLOW US TO PREVENT WATER GREENING”: MARAT GRIGORYAN
Today at YSU Faculty of Geography and Sustainable Development was held a report-discussion on "Water Resources Management and Current Issues of Lake Sevan".
Faculty chairmen, lecturers and experts from the Greens Union of Armenia NGO, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia were present.
Dean of the faculty Marat Grigoryan made a report about water resources management and current issues of Lake Sevan.
Marat Grigoryan believes that it is needed to plan a number of actions to develop water resources.
In his opinion, raising the level of Lake Sevan will only improve the "resistance" of the lake.
Ashot Harutyunyan, expert on territorial administration, local self-government, agriculture and environmental issues of the RA National Assembly said, that the reason for such problems in the RA is incomplete sectorial management.
It should be noted that issues related to the sphere were raised during the seminar-discussion.
