WAYS AND PERSPECTIVES OF EURASIAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: LECTURE AT YSU
A lecture on "Development of Eurasian Integration in Economic and Financial Policy Spheres" was held at YSU Faculty of Economics and Management today.
The lecture was held by Member of the Board (Minister) for Economics and Financial Policy Timur Mekeshevich Zhaksylykov.
At the beginning of the meeting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Yerevan State University Hayk Sargsyan welcomed the participants.
He thanked Timur Mekeshevich for lecturing at the faculty and touched upon the importance of Armenia-Russia economic relations.
"Our two countries have a long history of cooperation spanning different sectors of the economy, Russia is an important partner for Armenia, a major investor," said the Dean of the faculty.
Before the lecture Timur Mekeshevich congratulated YSU 100th anniversary and wished productive activity.
Timur Mekeshevich spoke about the history and structure of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The speaker noted that one of the main goals of the Eurasian Union is to ensure the freedom of market services, which has been successfully implemented during this time.
He also spoke about the challenges of a rapidly changing market, noting that it is very important to respond quickly to changes during this period, as well as to develop appropriate mechanisms for risk assessment.
