"SPEAK IF YOU CAN!" PUBLICATION COMPETITION AT YSU
YSU Student Council of YSU Faculty of International Relations has organized a "Speak if you can" publicity contest, the winners of which are announced today.
The goal of the second publicity competition is to become a platform for participants to express themselves and develop rhetorical skills.
In an interview with us, event organizer Kerob Khachatryan said the idea for the competition came as a result of a discussion.
The students realized that there was little opportunity to develop publicity skills in the formal education system.
For the students, a course was developed to develop their rhetorical skills.
The jury evaluates the participants on a 5-point scale, examining the logical structure of their speech, the ability to substantiate arguments, verbal image, gestures, and so on.
The jury has the opportunity to ask questions to the participants.
