YSU BOARD OF TRUSTEES DOES NOT HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT. NONE OF THE CANDIDATES RECEIVED SUFFICIENT VOTES
The sitting of YSU Board of Trustees took place today in the session hall of YSU Academic Council.
The second item on the agenda was the election of the chairman of the Board of Trustees, but neither of the two nominated candidates received enough votes.
The candidates for the Chairman of the Board of Trustees presented to the Board members their activities, their ideas on the role of the Board of Trustees in the development of the University, answered the questions of the participants of the meeting.
According to the results of the voting, Haykaz Navasardyan received 14 votes and Karlen Khachatryan 15 votes, which, according to the regulations, is not enough to be elected president.
Gevorg Muradyan, former Chairman of the YSU Board of Trustees, resigned in early December.
