THE LITERARY PROJECT "A MONTH WITH MODERN IRANIAN LITERATURE" HAS BEEN SUMMARIZED
The solemn ceremony of summarizing literary events within the framework of the "One Month with Modern Iranian Literature" program took place in YSU Hall after Palyans.
Vardan Voskanyan, Head of the Chair of Iranian Studies at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies welcomed the guests, and said that the field of cultural and scientific cooperation creates an opportunity to develop the political relations between Armenia and Iran, which have a thousand-year history, and, in fact, the chair provides the atmosphere where those relations can develop even more.
The head of the chair of Iranian studies added that the lecturers and students of the chair will present reports presenting modern Iranian literature.
Seyed Hossein Tabatabai, Advisor to the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, thanked the participants and said that the modern literature of each country is a mirror of that society, and he is very excited that the Armenian society is well aware of modern Iranian literature, especially poetry.
