RA CIVIL SERVANTS TAKE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AT YSU
Having made a great contribution to the training of civil service system specialists, Yerevan State University has been conducting courses since 2002 and is the author of many programs. The basis of all this is the high professionalism of the staff of the university and the presence of various specialties operating in YSU.
In the last two years, a professional training direction was introduced into the civil service system, and YSU got the opportunity to offer key topics for public officials.
Asya Aghasyan, the coordinator of the civil servants' professional training department of the YSU Center for the Continuity of Education, testified to us that the readiness, dedication and professionalism of the staff of the Yerevan State University is also the basis of the successful work.
"At the initiative of the Center for the Continuity of Education, training is conducted for each civil servant according to an individual program, which is drawn up based on the assessment of training needs," said A. Aghasyan.
She detailed that all the courses conducted by the center are analyzed and evaluated by the center's employees. As a result, some topics are modified; new ones are created, making subsequent training more effective.
We also talked with Naira Martirosyan, head of the Armavir Marzpetaran Secretariat, and Liana Harutyunyan, head of the legal department, and chief lawyer, who are participating in training courses at YSU. Speaking about the multi-content of the program and the readiness of the professors, they expressed their gratitude.
N. Martirosyan and L. Harutyunyan emphasized that they always participate in training organized in different formats, but the courses organized at YSU are more in-depth and include current topics.
In particular, L. Harutyunyan said, "For example, the local referendum, interpretations and approaches of the Law on Territorial Administration, and other such topics were not addressed during any of the previous training with my participation. Such topics are extremely important, and the professors present them to us in detail."
In order to carry out activities following the qualitative, quantitative, and time data mentioned in the contracts and agreements signed between the state agencies and Yerevan State University, the YSU Center for Continuity of Education makes great efforts not only to maintain the YSU rating but also to increase it, providing the employees involved in training courses with the latest and necessary information and ensuring their efficient operation in the future.
It should be noted that the staff of the RA Prime Minister's office, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of High-tech Industry, the ESCS Ministry, the State Supervision Service, the Water Committee, as well as the staff of Syunik, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Shirak, Vayots Dzor, Ararat and Lori marzpetarans were trained and are being trained due to the efforts of YSU.
