YSU-HUMBOLDT UNIVERSITY: SEMINAR - DISCUSSION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LAND SCIENCE

Head of the Chair of Physical Geography and Hydro-Meteorology at Yerevan State University, Trahel Vardanyan, told us that they have been cooperating with the University of Humboldt for already 4 years: "Within the framework of this cooperation arrangements for the exchange of experience are organized both for students and lecturers, joint works, as well as scientific researches."

According to the head of the chair, within the framework of this cooperation, students of Humboldt University headed by their head of chair Hilmar Schroeder are in Armenia and conduct research: "They were with us yesterday in Aragats, and tomorrow they will leave for Hrazdan. And on July 14, some of our students will go to Germany for ten days for the internship."

Schoolchildren, who will take part in the International Geography Olympiad, also attended the seminar-discussion held today at the Faculty of Geography and Geology.

During the event, representative of Humboldt University Kolya Testorf spoke about land science, told about when and where it emerged and what kind of development it had and responded to the participants' questions.
