BIOLOGYSTS RESEARCH THE QUALITY OF UNDERGROUND WATERS USED FOR IRRIGATION OF ARARAT VALLEY
The Chair of Ecology and Nature Protection of YSU Faculty of Biology presented the scientific program “Assessment of the quality of underground waters in Ararat valley and their influence on soil salinization and application of geostatistical methods”.

Head of the scientific program is Deputy Dean of Faculty of Biology, Associated professor of the Chair of Ecology and Nature Protection Karen Ghazaryan. He noted that the main goal of the project is assess the quality of underground waters, their influence on soil salinization and to create the maps related to the quality of that waters.
