Telling about the importance of the presented theme Lena explained that lots of metals are dumped into the environment as industrial wastes causing serious pollution of soil and water and endangering health and life of living organisms:
“This problem is vital for Armenia because of large-scale mining activities carried out in the territory of the RA”.
She offered to extract metals from waste waters with the use of local aluminosilicate clay soils, particularly, to increase their sorbation quality and extract more metals Noyemberyan Nor Koghb zeolite is to be used modifying it with cationic surface active agent hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide.
