NEW EDUCATIONAL MODULES TO BE INSTALLED IN YSU CENTER OF EXCELLENCE OF APPLIED BIOLOGY
The second stage of the program of “Erasmus +KA2” entitled “Creation of the Armenian network of excellence of bio-production science and technology” was held in Technical University of Dresden (Germany).
During the meeting the EU partner universities and Armenian universities discussed the working package of the program, the structure and content of Master’s programs.
The representatives of YSU Center of Excellence of Applied Biology, National Agrarian University of Armenia, Shirak State University, Gavar State University, as well as the representatives of Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece) coordinating the program, of European partner universities there were representatives of Technical University of Dresden (Germany), University of Teramo (Italy) and Catholic University of Portugal.
The researcher of YSU Center of Excellence of Applied Biology Suzanna Yesoyan who participated in the program presented the details and further plans.
She informed that in accordance with the planned agenda Armenian universities presented the themes of the Master’s programs preferable for them and the structures of those programs, and the partner universities presented the possibilities which will promote uninterrupted implementation of the programs in Armenian universities. YSU suggested new module groups which will be comprised of 5 directions.
According to S. Yesoyan, the aim of the mentioned Master’s program is to provide effective cooperation between universities, entrepreneurship and government. Suzanna Yesoyan said that “Creation of the Armenian network of excellence of bio-production science and technology” program of “Erasmus +KA2” supposes presence of new modules in Master’s programs.
The terms and working plan for the next year, the preliminary structure and directions of the educational programs which are an important precondition for the program implementation, were determined during the meeting.
The issues related to organization of trainings for the faculties as well as to quality increase of the program were discussed at the end of the event.
The participants of “Creation of the Armenian network of excellence of bio-production science and technology” program of “Erasmus +KA2” have received certificates.
