DISCUSSIONS AND NEW ANALYSIS OF LEGAL ISSUES: ANNUAL TWO-DAY SCIENTIFIC SESSION HAS STARTED
The annual two-day scientific session of the postgraduates and applicants of the Faculty of Law was held in the court session hall of the Faculty of Law of YSU.
Young scholars were greeted and wished effective work by the Dean of the Faculty of Law Gagik Ghazinyan. This session has been held for 10 years. During the session the postgraduates and applicants present their reports which are followed by Q&A.
The aspirants and applicants of the chairs of Criminal Law, European and International Law, Civil Law and Civic Procedure, Criminal Processing and Criminalistics. The reporters touched upon mediation and the function of probation services, to the system of punishment provided for legal entities, regulation of the application, distinction and individualization of the punishments provided for juvenile accused and other themes.
The postgraduate of the Chair of Criminal Law Roza Abrahamyan referred to the problems of juveniles’ punishment and presented the examples of different countries making comparison with the problem in our country. The postgraduate of the Chair of European and International Law Grigor Chobanyan referred to the problem of sovereignty in conditions of modern globalization. The two-day session is over on December 11.
