YSU RECTOR TO REFER TO RA ES MINISTER LIVE ON FACEBOOK
Today the meeting of the Academic Council was held in the Session Hall of the Academic Council of YSU. During the meeting Aram SImonyan referred to the announcement spread by the RA Police and the live speech of the RA Minister of Science and Education via “Facebook” social media site.
Speaking about the information spread by the RA Police in relation to exciting a criminal case Aram Simonyan said that consists of some paragraphs the first of which relates to the canteens.
The second problem, as the Rector explains, relates to 19 lecturers of YSU who were out of the country in July, August, January and the beginning of February, more precisely, during the months when there are no lessons.
Aram Simonyan is deeply offended with the wording given in the announcement of the RA Police according to which, based on group interests the lecturers falsified the documents and appropriated AMD 18 million.
“The Minister sends a hidden threat to the members of our today’s Academic Council”, says Aram Simonyan. “He finds that there is no need to make a decision today and et cetera, let everyone discuss it and make a decision. Let’s discuss. The Minister puts the responsibility on each member. Thus, taking this decision, all of us undertake the responsibility which can be punished. This is a threat addressed to the members of the Academic Council of Yerevan State University”.
