OFFICIAL EVENTS DEDICATED TO 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF YSU The program of official events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of YSU foundation will start on September 23. On September 23, the first day of official events will take place in the 3-6th floors of YSU Central Building: Exhibition of handmade works of YSU lecturers and students Exhibition of Paintings by YSU Professor, Corresponding Member of NAS RA Grigor (Grisha) Gharibyan Exhibition of personal collection of YSU professor, correspondent of NAS RA Grigor (Grisha) Gharibyan. Exhibition of books published by YSU and antique books kept at YSU Library in the lobby of YSU Library. On September 26: In the morning reception of foreign guests at YSU Rector's office by delegation. Visiting guests at YSU History Museum after Ludwig Gharibjanyan. Participation in events started from September 23. Solemn session of YSU Academic Council, during which the adoption of the Declaration on Academic Freedom, as well as the awarding ceremony. Visit of foreign guests to the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts after Mesrop Mashtots and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. Planting of fir trees by the guests at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Park. At the National Academic Theater after Sundukyan Exhibition of Choukhajyan's "Karine" operetta staged by YSU Cultural Center. On September 27: International Conference on "Higher Education, Research and Innovation in the 21st Century" at YSU Academic Conference Hall. After the conference, at 4 pm, a solemn march of students and guests to A. Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. At 17:00 A.M. National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan and solemn concert. On September 28: Foreign guests visit Garni Pagan Temple, Geghard Monastery Complex and Yerevan Brandy Factory. At 20:00 in the yard of YSU Central Building the freshmen oath and a big student concert-disco will be performed by famous singers Gor Sujyan and Aram MP3, as well as DJ Shant.
