‘ARMENIA IS A SMALL COUNTRY, BUT ARMENIANS ARE SMART NATION’. KAZAKHSTAN VICE PRIME MINISTER VISITED YSU
The delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev visited The Center for Kazakh Culture, History and Language of YSU.
The Center for Kazakh Culture, History and Language of YSU operates under the Chair of Turkish Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. It was founded in 2010 by YSU and Astana University. Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between YSU and Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Speaking to the students, Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Berdibek Saparbayev said that studying foreign languages and cultures is very important today. ‘In Kazakhstan many people learn Armenian and study your culture. About 300,000 Armenians live in our country and have established cultural centers in all regions. It is important for us to support them by creating conditions so that they do not forget their language and culture.’
Berdibek Saparbayev advised students to study well. ‘All conditions are created for you. Although Armenia is a small country, Armenians are a smart nation.The future of your country depends on you. proud that you are a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and in general every person should be proud of his or her citizenship.’
