“PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS”: A SEMINAR AT YSU

The representatives of YSU professorial staff, psychologists of different educational institutions, high school students, pedagogues of social sciences, practical psychologists took part in seminar.

The purpose of the event was to introduce the practical aspects of professional self-determination.

At the beginning of the seminar, Associate Professor of YSU Chair of General Psychology Varduhi Papoyan.

‘Our goal is to support students in self-orientation and to help them find a way of life’: she said.

She talked also about the limitations of professional competence and skills, the wish to change profession in adulthood and the qualities of a future specialist.

V. Papoyan said, that for their research work they have chosen such issues as professional self-determination, guidance, preparedness, competence and relevance.
