Psychology Research Center
The expanded reorganization of the research laboratory of experimental psychology, the Research Center of Psychology, was established at YSU in 2022, based on research laboratories of Psychology of Personality and Professional Activity (founded in 2006) and Person and Social Environment (founded in 2011).
The activities of the center are aimed at:
Conducting systematic and multi-phase psychological research using modern methods in the fields of mental health, psychological well-being and safety,
Performing a psychological assessment based on the obtained results,
Creation of counseling standards and tools.
Through new research, the Center also contributes data of theoretical and practical value to academic and public platforms, as well as ensures the applicability of research results in various fields of human activity (education, healthcare, business, military, socio-cultural sphere, etc.).
The Center's research directions are methodology, psychophysiology, cognitive sciences, the person in the environment of social (COVID-19, post-war situation), and professional activities.
The Center is also engaged in the process of localization of highly effective methods used all over the world.
The Center's infrastructure, called the Personality and Social Environment Research Laboratory, is aimed at studying the characteristics of the manifestation of the value orientations of a person, and drawing out their interrelationship with other socio-psychological factors and studying socio-psychological factors.
The Center also cooperates with various local and international organizations, providing modern research tools and the applicability of results in various fields of activity.
