Ecological Monitoring Group
The Ecological Monitoring Scientific Group conducts research in biodiversity monitoring. Monitoring is mainly carried out in man-made polluted areas. The impact of environmental factors on the biodiversity of some unicellular and multicellular organisms is studied.
Modern molecular genetics and other methods are used in the studies. In addition, the impact of various pollutants and chemical compounds on the vital activity of some organisms is studied in laboratory conditions.
